Corvalent Announces New Core™ i7, i5 "Sandy Bridge" Industrial Motherboard

CEDAR PARK, TX — October, 2011 — Corvalent is pleased to announce the release of our newest and most powerful motherboard to date. The full size Q67AX motherboard featuring support for the latest Core™ i7 and Core i5 processors from Intel®.

"We always try to manufacture our new motherboards to contain the latest stable and proven features at the time they are made." Says Ed Trevis, CEO of Corvalent. "We also do our best to incorporate legacy technologies such as multiple PCI and serial ports that many of our customers depend on because they are still widely used for machine control and many other industrial applications."

The new Q67AX is no exception, supporting the latest "Sandy Bridge" Core i7 CPU, SATA3 ports, dual gigabit ethernet ports, three PCI Express ports, one mini Express port, and three simultaneous video outputs via HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports (regardless of CPU model). Yet, for those that need legacy features, there are a total of (10) serial ports on board, (4) PCI slots, PS/2 keyboard/mouse support, and an available parallel port. This board offers amazing speed, capabilities, and versatility for almost any commercial application.

The OEM board may optionally be branded or customized to specific customer project requirements as part of the integration and validation process, ensuring years of reliable, trouble-free service over the 7 to 10+ year production lifecycle.
