Corvalent Announces Compact New ITX Motherboard Featuring
Core™ i7, i5 "Sandy Bridge" CPU Support

CEDAR PARK, TX — November, 2011 — Corvalent is pleased to announce the release of our newest and most powerful compact motherboard to date. The Q67IX, measuring only 6.7" x 6.7" and featuring support for the latest Core™ i7 and i5 processors from Intel®.

"We've had requests for a compact motherboard that can fit into extremely small spaces, yet still contain the full processing power of a much larger workstation class CPU." Says Ed Trevis, CEO of Corvalent. "We managed to fit a full size PCI-E x16 slot, two ethernet ports, two SATA3 ports, four SATA2 ports and full size desktop ram slots, not to mention the full size CPU socket and dual HDMI and VGA video outputs. It required a lot of careful space management, and we're very excited to be launching this new model into the embedded market"

The new Q67IX also includes six external and four internal (header pins) USB 2.0 Ports, a PS-2 keyboard/mouse port, (1) external RS232 serial port, (1) internal RS232/422/485 port, and 6 channels of audio. Chipset RAID 0/1/5/10 is also supported via Intel's onboard Matrix Storage system. The end result is a highly compact board with the features and speed capability of a much larger form factor motherboard.

As always, our OEM products may optionally be branded and/or customized to specific customer project requirements. This may include custom splash screen, EFI BIOS revisions, or other modifications which are part of the integration and validation process, done to ensure years of reliable and trouble-free service over the 7 to 10+ year production lifecycle.
