Here is a great compact 1U system that can be configured in a variety of different ways depending on your project’s storage requirements. This system makes use of our powerful Q57MX motherboard, powered by the Intel® i7™ processor. This gives you plenty of horsepower, and storage to tackle almost any task. Perfect for when rack space is at a premium, several redundant drives are needed, but hot swappable drives are not a necessity. Five internal fans (two in front, and three on the back right side) are mounted to move air through the chassis and over the motherboard to keep things running cool and efficient.

The housing can be configured several different ways depending on your needs. A slim optical drive makes way for a 3.5” hard drive underneath, with space for an additional two 3.5” drives. Or, install a full size optical drive in the 5.25” bay, and utilize up to five smaller, 2.5” drives. Need the best in redundancy and drive capacity? Then take advantage of every SATA port on the motherboard, go with the slim optical drive, and six total 2.5” hard drives. (Hardware RAID 1 for operating system, Intel Matrix Storage RAID 10 for data)
