Product Description

The CorSys-M12™ is a compact, low-power, high-performance, touch-screen tablet PC that is well suited for the medical industry as well as industrial applications such as materials management and shipping. The M12 incorporates a powerful Intel™ Atom™ N270 processor, fingerprint recognition, RFID and barcode scanning, making it an ideal fit for applications where portability, convenience and security are a concern. The housing is designed from specialized plastics that can resist alcohol, bleach, iodine and other common hospital disinfectants, making it easy to wipe down and clean up without concern.

Portable Powerhouse

The M12 allows for real-time patient record / network access via encrypted wireless 802.11a/b/g/n networking, as well as Bluetooth™ connectivity for keyboard or wireless diagnostic device connectivity. The M12 will operate for up to 3.5 hours on it’s external and internal rechargeable batteries. Extra batteries are available that can be charged in the docking station, and hot-swapped in the M12 without needing to shut down or sleep the machine. Additionally, the docking station acts as a security lock, securing the tablet against theft and unauthorized use until the operator authenticates with the fingerprint scanner. Lastly, with portability in mind, the mere 3.5lb total weight (when fully loaded), keeps the M12 in people’s hands all day long, increasing productivity and reducing operator fatigue.
