Product Description
The Q35SBC™ single board computer (SBC) is a full-size PICMG 1.0 compliant CPU card (13.3" x 4.8") based on the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo and Intel® Celeron® processor. The Q35SBC was designed specifically for performance intensive embedded applications such as Security & Surveillance, Telecommunications, Defense, Medical, Networking, Factory Automation, and Robotics.
However with the decline in availability of motherboards supporting the ISA slot standard, this compact embedded SBC can fill the void. Mount this board on a pack plane equipped with ISA slots, and a range of possibilities suddenly open up to those still in need of that legacy technology. (call for details)
The Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor enables the Q35SBC to be cooled by a low-profile heat sink and fan. This significantly reduces the amount of horizontal space the SBC takes up in the back plane and allows usage of expansion card slots that would normally be blocked by a larger standard processor fan.
The Intel® Q35 Express chipset addresses key requirements of many embedded computing designs, including graphics, low-power consumption, noise reduction, manageability, data protection and security. When combined with Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processors, the Q35SBC platform helps embedded OEM's deploy responsive, high-performance, low-power systems.
