The Q57AX is one in a series of long-life industrial embedded motherboards supporting the newest Intel processors, while still providing a solid migration path for legacy users. The Q57AX embedded motherboard was designed specifically for performance intensive embedded applications such as Medical, Oil and Gas, Security and Surveillance, Broadcast, Industrial Automation, and Gaming.
Our engineers have out done themselves this time. We’ve produced one of the fastest Intel® i7 compatible boards, with the best legacy support available anywhere. We’ve not only included onboard RAID 0/1/5/10 support, but we added something more, a second set of ports supporting driverless hardware RAID 0/1. Now any OS (even DOS or QNX) can be on a mirrored or striped array for performance or redundancy. Combine that with extras like dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual DVI video outputs, powered SATA ports for direct connection of solid state media, and optional airflow sensors and suddenly the Q57 offers a versatile, and cost effective alternative to much larger server class boards! Multiple I/O options make this one of our most flexible boards ever produced. Three different PCI-E slots and (4) PCI expansion slots, (4) serial ports, (1) parallel port, and (14) USB ports provide ample support for peripherals in a time where extensive expansion capabilities are becoming extremely rare on high-performance embedded motherboards..
