Product Description
The Q57MXE is a long-life embedded motherboard supporting the latest Intel Xeon® processors, while still providing a migration path for legacy users. The Q57MXE motherboard was designed specifically for OEMs needing compact embedded motherboards to run intensive server related tasks in harsh embedded applications such as Medical, Oil and Gas, Security and Surveillance, Broadcast, and Industrial Automation.
Our engineers have designed our fastest Xeon compatible industrial motherboard yet, with some of the best legacy support available anywhere. We’ve not only included onboard RAID 0/1/5/10 support, but we added something more, a second set of ports supporting driverless hardware RAID 0/1. Now any OS (even DOS or QNX) can be on a mirrored or striped array. Combine that with Xeon processors and extras like dual gigabit ethernet ports, and the Q57MXE stands out with serious speed, versatility, and value. Multiple I/O options make this one of our most flexible boards ever produced. Two (2) PCI-E slots and (2) PCI expansion slots, (4) serial ports, (1) parallel port, and (14) USB ports provide ample support for peripherals in a time where extensive expansion capabilities are becoming extremely rare on high-performance motherboards.
