Product Description
The Rattler M4 is a long-life, low-profile graphics card based on the Silicon Motion (SM) SM712 display controller. The Rattler M4 features various display modes, CRT and LCD support, and power-saving technology. The Rattler M4 was designed for industrial applications where longevity, consistency, reliability, and minimum space requirements are top concerns. The adapter fits vertically into a 2U rackmount chassis without the use of a PCI riser card (optional 2U bracket required). The low profile design of the Rattler adapter improves airflow throughout the system case, resulting in reduced thermals. The Rattler M4 is optimized for low-power and 2D applications. It features 4MB of internal memory, a 64-bit 2D graphics engine, CRT resolution of up to 1280x1024 with 16 million colors, LCD resolution of 1024x768 with 16 million colors, optional DVI and Digital RGB support. The adapter features an LCD panel type DIP-switch selection, and multiple display modes including single display, dual (cloned) display, dual app (extended desktop) and desktop rotation. An additional industrial feature includes an LCD panel type DIP-switch selection.
