Product Description
The Rattler M8 is a long-life, low-profile graphics card based on the Silicon Motion (SM) SM722 display controller. The Rattler M8 features various display modes, CRT and LCD support, and power-saving technology. The Rattler M8 was designed for industrial applications where longevity, consistency, reliability, and minimum space requirements are top concerns. The adapter fits vertically into a 2U rackmount chassis without the use of a PCI riser card (optional 2U bracket required). The low profile design of the Rattler adapter improves airflow throughout the system case, resulting in reduced thermals. Rattler M8 is a higher-end adapter which features 8MB of internal memory, a 128bit 2D/3D graphics engine, CRT resolution and LCD resolution up to 1280x1024 with 16 million colors and optional video outputs including: DVI, Digital RGB, S-video or composite and LVDS. The adapter features an LCD panel type DIP-switch selection, and multiple display modes including single display, dual (cloned) display, dual app (extended desktop) and desktop rotation. An additional industrial feature includes an LCD panel type DIP-switch selection.
