Raptor ATX

This quick installation guide was designed to help with the basic configuration for the Raptor ATX. More detailed information can be found in the installation guide.

Processor Installation:: When installing the processor, make sure to select the correct setting for the BUS clock through jumper JP11. Incorrect BUS clock selection can cause damage to the CPU and void the product warranty.

To install the processor follow these steps:

  1. Lift the lever of the PGA socket and gently insert the processor. Make sure the diagonal notch on the processor matches the notch on the socket. This notch represents pin 1.
  2. Make sure the processor is inserted all the way.
  3. Lower lever.

Memory Configuration: The Raptor ATX features three memory banks (3 DIMM sockets) allowing up to 384MB of unbuffered SDRAM or up to 768MB of registered SDRAM with ECC support.
